Justin started working in the fastener industry in summer of 2008 for his family’s business, Coburn-Myers Fastening Systems. After attending college and pursuing other work opportunities, he rejoined the company in 2016 as an outside sales representative, focusing on cold calling and meeting with key customers. Within a few short years he took on the role of managing the warehouse, shipping and receiving department, and machine shop as well as finishing and threading custom bolts for the cement and mining industry—all while still maintaining relationships with the company’s customer base. Justin joined the board of MAFDA in 2018 to help plan and assist members at our golf outings, educational events and annual Christmas party. From selling raffle tickets, working the check-in table to announcing the scholarships and prizes, he assumed any role required. This past year he was voted in as Vice President, helping further the goals and reach of the association.
